The NY Activist Calendar is a weekly listing of events of interest to NYC-area activists. It is compiled by volunteer labor and is published by the Nicaragua Solidarity Network of Greater NY.

It was started on the first weekend of July 1995 as the CREED NY Calendar. It was renamed The NY Activist Calendar in 2004.

The NY Activist Calendar doesn't charge for listings, and we make the calendar available for free. If you find the calendar useful, please consider helping out by making a donation. Please make your check payable to "Nicaragua Solidarity Network" & mail to 339 Lafayette Street, New York, NY 10012. Contributions of $50 or more can be made payable to the "A.J. Muste Memorial Institute," with "NSN" in the memo line; these will be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS.

Our listserve is hosted by riseup.net, a advertising free, all-volunteer, leftist-run list & mail provider. Riseup volunteers suggest we each send them an hour's wages per individual user per year: http://help.riseup.net/about-us/donate/
